Vaccines

MEDICARE FUNDED VACCINES
Many vaccines are provided free of charge by the Federal Government.

Campus Clinic provides childhood and adult vaccinations, including  catch-up vaccines.

Seasonal Influenza Vaccines.
These vaccines are provided free of charge to certain patient groups:

  • Aged over 65 years
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders aged less than 5 and over 15 years
  • Pregnant women
  • Patients with chronic illness predisposing to severe influenza, namely
    • Cardiac disease
    • Chronic respiratory illness
    • Diabetes Mellitus
    • Renal Failure
    • Many other indications, your doctor can advise if you are eligible

TRAVEL VACCINES
Campus Clinic offers  travel vaccination and malaria risk assessment as well as onsite availability of vaccines.
Travel vaccines are not part of the Australian Immunisation Schedule and must be paid for at the time of consultation.

Vaccines available include

  • Hepatitis A, B
  • Polio
  • Cholera
  • Rabies
  • Yellow Fever
  • Japanese Encephalitis
  • Typhoid
  • MMR
  • Chickenpox
  • Tetanus/Pertussis (Whooping Cough)
  • HPV (Gardasil)

OCCUPATIONAL OR STUDY ASSOCIATED VACCINES

Campus Clinic offers a full vaccination service to staff and students who require vaccination as part of their occupational or study program. Charges will apply for vaccines not covered by Federal vaccine schemes.
